ABC – Brazilian Cosmetology Association and IPT – Institute of Technological Research – have signed a partnership for the exchange of technical knowledge and materialization of projects.
Under the agreement, ABC undertakes to direct IPT services to the different sectors of the cosmetic market, to provide consultancy for participation in fairs and to offer to the researchers of the institute enrollments of the association courses at values equivalent to those of associates. And IPT will provide to the association the promotion of essays for the associates,the organization of an annual technology event, and evaluating opportunities for funding and fomentation to the production.
One of the missions of the IPT, explains Flávia Motta, manager of the institute’s Planning and Business Coordination, is to carry out projects, transmit knowledge and make companies more competitive.
The partnership was implemented during the event “Technological Trends Applied to the Cosmetics Sector” promoted last week. On that occasion, the director of IPT’s Bionanomanufacture Nucleus, Adriano Marim, and the director of the IPT’s Micro and Small Business Center, Mari Tomita Katayama, presented to the participants aspects related to the work of the IPT laboratories and related technical challenges to the cosmetics market.
