This year Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, which will take place between March 15 and 19, will have specific areas for each sector to facilitate business opportunities. There will be 2,822 exhibitors 70 countries participating in the 2018 edition. Brazil will be represented by 46 companies. The event, reference in business and cosmetic products is organized by the BolognaFiere Group, with the support of the Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico, ICE – Italian Business Promotion Agency and Cosmetica Italia.

In its 51st edition Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2018 offers diversification in the opening days for each sector: from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 March doors will open for professionals in the retail, perfumery and cosmetics sectors, green and natural and in the national pavilions of COSMO | PERFUMERY & COSMETICS, which will be held in conjunction with Cosmopack; the areas of interest for the professional channel of COSMO | HAIR & NAIL & BEAUTY SALON – hair, nail, beauty salon & spa – with the national pavilions of China and Taiwan maintain the usual opening dates from Friday 16 to Monday 19 March. In addition, the new concept favors visitors to meet the specific needs of companies, buyers, distributors, retailers and professionals at the fair.



About 150 Brazilian executives from 46 personal hygiene, perfumery and cosmetics companies will be present at the main fair in the world segment, Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna. The national participation is an initiative of Beautycare Brazil, an accomplishment of the Brazilian Association of the Personal Hygiene, Perfumery and Cosmetics Industry (ABIHPEC) and the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (Apex-Brasil).

The exhibitors will be located in seven different halls of the 744 square meters of the Brazilian pavilion, where will be presented the main tendencies of the national sector for the visitors of the event. “The division of companies into areas by product category will make it possible to drive business further. We will have companies exhibiting products for hair, nails, skin care, aesthetics / SPA, as well as accessories such as furniture for beauty salons, makeup adhesives, among others, “says Gueisa Silvério, Beautycare Brazil manager.

The Brazilian presence at the fair will also count with the participation of Brazilian Association of the sector – ABIHPEC chief executive João Carlos Basilio and representatives of Apex-Brasil and the Brazilian Consulate in Milan. “We had a 30% increase in exhibitors compared to the previous year , and our expectation is to provide new international partnerships and export growth in the sector. Cosmoprof is a great opportunity to relate to important players in the world market for personal hygiene, perfumery and cosmetics, “says Basilio.

The customization of the event, being the consequence of the reorganization of the exhibition spaces and the restyling activities taking place at the Bologna exhibition center, takes shape in a new structure of the whole district area, with ad hoc initiatives for the various sectors, encouraging networking and the development of new business projects.
