Lady Gaga announced on Tuesday the 9th in an interview with Business of Fashion magazine the launch of its line of cosmetics Haus Laboratories, which will be sold on Amazon from September.
The singer, songwriter and actress bet on three products aimed at different parts of the face: lips, eyes and cheeks, with six families of shade for each.
The pre-sale starts on Monday, July 15, with the possibility of buying a kit with the three products for $ 49 (current price).
Lady Gaga announced the brand in a one minute video on YouTube, with a soundtrack by Boys Noize, Bloodpop, and Tchami herself, in which she tells her clients to love themselves and “beauty is how you see yourself.”
The inspiration for Gaga came from the time when she was trying to embark on her singing career in New York, using makeup bought from pharmacies to put on her own look. In an interview with Business of Fashion, she said the line will be “liberation.”
Gaga would have accepted the partnership with Amazon for having been guaranteed full creative control over its brand.
