L'Occitane au Brésil, Franco-Brazilian brand of L'Occitane Group, expands its portfolio of men's products with the launch of the line Araucaria Poente. The first male line was Araucaria.
The light and the refreshing breeze that inspired the initial release, it becomes warmer and intense, as the sky gets red and orange tones, announcing the sunset.
The new items combine woody notes with a contrast of spices and are inspired by the sunset in the Araucaria Forest, with Cologne Deodorant and vegetable Soap, which feature striking perfume in a sophisticated version geared for men who are in their prime.
As usual the brand values local designers to create the packaging of L'Occitane Au Brésil and called the artist Luiz Mendes to create illustration of the labels and cartridge. The hot and dense colors contrast with the shadow of the Araucaria. Using the Batik technique of successive handmade dyeing in fabric, Mendes translated the magnificence of this tree with traces and unique textures.
To obtain the raw material, the brand sought the Araucaria seed in the city of Turvo, Paraná, where it found the couple Cristina and John Kuasnhaki, which provide the ingredient with the support of local cooperative Coopaflora.
The Deodorant Cologne Araucaria Poente is presented in 100ml bottle and costs US$ 28,75 and the soap, in 75 ml, US$ 3,55.
L´ Occitane Au Brésil products are developed by the Brazilian subsidiary team in partnership with Olivier Baussan, founder of the French brand L'Occitane and produced in Brazil in outsourced factories. They can be found in L'Occitane stores across the country.
