Resolution of the National Health Surveillance Agency  – Anvisa –  published yesterday, 27 in the Official Gazette defines the technical requirements for the formulation, safety and labeling for granting registration toiletries, cosmetics and children’s perfumes.

The text establishes as children public the child  up to 12 years  incomplete and determines, for example, that the formulation of this type of product is consisted of own ingredients and safe for intended use proposal, taking into account possible cases of accidental ingestion.

The resolution provides that the removal of the product occurs easily – by the simple washing with water, soap or shampoo. Also according to the new rules and in order to prevent the ingestion of the product is allowed to use ingredients with denaturing function (bitter taste).

According to Anvisa, the children’s products manufactured before the resolution will be marketed in Brazil by the end of their validity periods.
