The most important trade fair in the Middle East, Beautyworld Middle East 2018, held from 8 to 10 this month in Dubai, was attended by 42 national companies *, generated results in business for the country of US $ 3.4 million , 1,500 business contacts and the opening of markets such as India, Pakistan and Iran. According to Apex Brasil – Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments – the expectation is that in the next 12 months, an additional US $ 18.7 million , the result of negotiations during the event.
The fair received more than 1,700 exhibitors from 62 countries and 25 international pavilions. The Brazilian participation was made possible by the sectoral project Beautycare Brazil – coordinated by Abihpec – Brazilian Association of the Personal Hygiene, Perfumery and Cosmetics Industry and Apex Brazil.
Gueisa Silvério, manager of Beautycare Brazil, says: “Our purpose is to help companies move forward in the internationalization process and the expectation for the 2014 edition of Beautyworld Middle East was very great. We were pleased with the organization of the event and the result, which shows the great receptivity of domestic products abroad. ”
Among the categories of the Brazilian market that attract the attention of the visitors of the region are hair products, internationally recognized as a reference in innovation and technology. “The great miscegenation of Brazil encourages our industry to innovate to meet the great and varied local demand, which ends up attracting foreigners and opening the market for our companies to export,” explains Gueisa. The companies also took news in categories such as skin, nails and accessories.
Currently, Beautycare Brazil serves companies of all sizes and billings, which has the possibility to participate in international events, such as fairs, road shows and prospective missions, besides other actions that include training activities, technical product adequacy, commercial actions for facilitation and business generation, image strengthening, among others.
