The Brazilian Association of the Personal Hygiene, Perfumery and Cosmetics Industry – Abihpec –recognized 40 national and international companies participating in another edition of the Supplier Qualification Program, in an event that brought together 150 industry executives on July 18.
This initiative, which has been organized by Abihpec for 11 years, brought news in 2019, highlighting the companies in each of the categories. They are: Adhespack Group (Packaging), Vollmens Fragrances (Fragrances), Bandeirante Brazmo (Ingredients), Active Logistics (Services) and Coferly (Third Party).
Abihpec’s CEO, João Carlos Basilio, took the opportunity to emphasize the importance of the Program for the sector. “Abihpec understands that suppliers who provide responsibly services and increase industry competitiveness are recognized by the market. It is very significant for us to encourage continuous improvement and to be able to count on the commitment of all these companies,” he said.
The program is a way to add value to the production chain, pointing out qualities and transformations needed by suppliers, through an evaluation made by their customers. The initiative gives participants a personalized analysis, which is prepared by expert advice.
