After selling the Niely coloring and hair care brand to L´Oréal, about six years ago, and staying away from the market during this period, Daniel Fonseca de Jesus, a Rio de Janeiro entrepreneur from Baixada Fluminense, returns to the market with the brand Duty Cosméticos, of hair products that should be felt even by the giant L’Oréal.

Paulo Lemann and his partners, Marcel Telles and Carlos Alberto Sicupira, bought in the second half of last year a stake in Duty, Daniel de Jesus’ new company, founder of the hair products manufacturer Niely, sold to the French L’Oréal, by more than R $ 1 billion.

According to the newspaper Valor Econômico, the investment was made from a fund called LTS Investmens, named after the initials of the partners’ surnames. The investment amount was not disclosed, but the participation in Duty would be a minority.
