The British brand Bulldog Skincare for Men has replaced its traditional plastic tubes with more sustainable plastic tubes made from sugarcane, a renewable source that saves carbon dioxide rather than releasing it. Brazilian technology of the petrochemical giant Braskem.
The brand of male grooming products made a point of explaining that, every 100 tons of plastic from sugarcane used in bulldog tubes, 309 tons of CO2 are withdrawn from the environment. Bulldog, as well as Natura in Brazil, a pioneer in the use of Braskem’s green plastic (see here), found a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way to pack its vegan-based products.
“It is a renewable resource that is grown responsibly in Brazil with minimal impact on food or biodiversity, and does not need much more than natural rains to grow,” the RPC M & H Plastics, responsible for the new packaging said in a statement.
