Colgate-Palmolive named Noel Wallace President, Executive Director and Board Member. He will replace Ian Cook, who has led the company since 2007. Cook will serve as chief executive for up to 12 months to oversee the transition, the company said. The change is aligned with the company’s long-term succession planning process.

Wallace, joined Colgate in 1987 and has held a number of senior management roles around the world. More recently, he has served as chairman and chief operating officer of Colgate since July 2018,

Wallace will take office on April 2.
