Natura is one of the most sustainable companies in the world and the first in the cosmetics sector in the Global 100 ranking, prepared by the Canadian media and research company Corporate Knights. This is the eleventh consecutive time that Natura appears on the list. The survey was presented on Tuesday, January 21, during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

The companies present in the 16th edition of the Global 100 ranking achieved the best performances among more than 7,300 companies analyzed in 21 countries from different sectors of the industry, through a rigorous assessment involving indicators related to energy, carbon emissions, water consumption, waste solid, capacity for innovation, wages, job security, percentage of women in management, among others. The analyzes are weighted to reflect the impact profile of each sector.

Founded in 1969, Natura is a Brazilian multinational of hygiene and cosmetics. Leader in the direct selling sector in Brazil, with more than 1.7 million consultants, is part of Natura & Co, the result of the combination of Natura, Avon, The Body Shop and Aesop.

Natura was the first publicly traded company to receive BCorp certification in the world, in December 2014, reinforcing its transparent and sustainable performance in the social, environmental and economic aspects.
