Abihpec – Brazilian Association of the Personal Care, Perfumery and Cosmetics Industry held the sixth edition of the ABIHPEC-Beleza Brasil Award this week in São Paulo. Innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability and creative aspects of product concept, design and communication are some of the criteria used for awards – 15 cases in three modalities: Companies, Products and Perfumery.

This edition has brought to the center of the discussion the transformation that the Personal Hygiene, Perfumery and Cosmetics (HPPC) market allows, with the concept “Fundamental is Transform”, based on the capacity to promote and follow up transformations, whether they are individual, as on the impact which exercises in the self-esteem and in the health of each one, or collective, as the concern with the future of the planet and the generation of income.

In his opening speech, ABIHPEC chief executive João Carlos Basilio also recalled that the country is going through a moment of perspectives of changing, whether in a scenario of renewal in politics, economics or in the social sphere. “This reflects a demand from society and this environment requires an industry attentive to the movements, with agility, adaptation, inspiration, innovation and, mainly, creativity,” he said. He adds that “the ABIHPEC Beauty-Brazil Award celebrates the commitment of the industry to create to attend a more and better to a customer that is constantly changing and becoming even more demanding.”
From the 170 cases enrolled by 73 companies in this year, those who joined the concern with the health, well-being and self-esteem of the consumer, as well as social and environmental awareness were highlighted.

Cuidados com a Pele – Facial: Avon, com o case Renew Infinite
Care and Treatment of Hair: L’Occitane au Brésil, with the Patauá case
Makeup: Avon, with the case Liquid Base Ultramatte
Women’s Perfume: Avon, with the Eve Duet case
Masculine Perfumery: Natura, with the case K
Disposable Products: Kimberly-Clark, with the Femme Plenitud Line case
Kids Products: Kimberly-Clark, with the Huggies One & Done case
Men’s Products: Floractive Cosmetics with the Floractive Barbers Case
Solar Shield: Pink Cheeks, with the Shine Solar Filter Case
Hair Transformation: Floractive Cosmetics, with the Flora Vegan case

The highlight of the Modality The Perfumer was Verônica Kato, with the creation of Perfume K, of Natura.
In Business Category, the winners were Grupo Boticário (Sustainability), L’Arrëe Créative Cosmétiques (Entrepreneurship) and Natura (Company of the Year).
