Marcelo Zimet is the new General Director of L’Oréal Brasil in charge of the General Public Products Division. The executive replaces Dominique Marceau, who assumes new projects within the Group. After visiting Argentina, where he was head of L’Oréal five years ago, Marcelo will be responsible for the L’Oréal Paris, Niely, Garnier, Colorama and Maybelline NY brands in Brazil.1velopment area in the Consumer Products Division. In 2014, he was promoted to the position of President of L’Oréal Argentina and, under his leadership, the subsidiary achieved solid and sustainable growth, and gained market share in all Divisions, despite the complex and volatile economic situation of the parents.
In his new challenge in Brazil, Marcelo will add his strong knowledge of the Brazilian market and his constant focus on the execution and development of people to lead the business of the Public Products Division. He will be on the company’s Executive Committee, reporting directly to An Verhulst-Santos, CEO of L’Oréal Brazil.
