In celebration of the 15th anniversary of the “For Women in Science” Program, L’Oréal Brasil launches a cultural contest to create the new commemorative logo. The contest, aimed at women over 18 years old, regardless of their area of activity, is open for registration until 02/27.

The winner will also win an online course at one of the most renowned schools of creativity in Brazil, Perestroika. In it, it will be possible to learn how to develop more creative solutions, products and ideas for work and personal life, with theoretical concepts and different, innovative and fun practical processes.

Held since 2006 by L´Oréal, in partnership with UNESCO in Brazil and the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, the program aims to promote and recognize the participation of women in science, favoring gender balance in the Brazilian scenario. Every year, seven young researchers in the areas of Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Mathematics are awarded a grant of R ﹩ 50 thousand each to continue their studies.

Over these 15 years, the For Women in Science award has recognized and encouraged 96 Brazilian scientists, who have received extra impetus to continue their studies and increase the development of science in the country, with the distribution of approximately R $ 4.2 million aid grants.

The result will be released on March 6, 2020.
