Natura, a Brazilian multinational leader in the cosmetics market and toiletries and beauty, has just been recognized as one of the most ethical companies by the Ethisphere Institute 2015, Institute of global presence, a leader in defining and improving ethical business practices.
 
The award World’s Most Ethical Companies recognizes the work of organizations that have had significant impact on conducting business by fostering a culture of ethics and transparency in all levels of the company.
 
The award crowns the Natura´s commitment to the ethical standards of business and with the long-term practices that ensure benefits to all company stakeholders, including customers, employees, suppliers, regulators and investors.
In the edition of 2015, Natura was recognized in the category of health and beauty, as well as in 2011, 2012 and 2013. In 2014, the company was highlighted among the general consumer products companies.

The evaluation of the companies made for the award is based on Ethical Quotient ™ (EQ) developed over the years by the Ethisphere Institute as way to estimate the performance of organizations in an objective, consistent and standardized.
 
The Ethical Quotient ™ (EQ) and  the methodology are determined, controlled and improved by the specialized consulting of network leaders of the Ethisphere Institute  and validated by the World’s Most Ethical Company Methodology Advisory Panel. The scores are generated in five main categories: ethics and compliance program (35%), responsibility and corporate citizenship (20%), culture of ethics (20%), governance (15%) and leadership, innovation and reputation (10 %).
