O Boticario, one of the largest Brazilian cosmetics companies, today started an action that exchanges empty packaging of its products for 420 thousand items of makeup in the brand’s physical stores.
The initiative is part of the recycling program of the industry, the “Boti Recicla”, which guides and encourages people to dispose of waste correctly. By registering on the brand site and delivering empty packaging in the stores, consumers who participated in the reverse logistics action choose the selling point in which they prefer to exchange for makeup products of the brands Intense and Make B., according to the availability that stores offer and also receive a discount of up to 20% on the purchase of products in the Intense line.
The promotion is valid until May 26, only in physical stores, or while supplies last.
The company maintains a permanent reverse logistics program in physical stores of the four Grupo Boticário brands to avoid inappropriate discards of these packaging. The collected packages are sent to recyclable collectors’ cooperatives approved by the industry.
