Odore, a London-based beauty products sampling company, has partnered with Aptar in which the company and its beauty products customers will have access to Odore’s surveys on consumers preference.

Founded in 2017, Odore works with beauty brands providing consumers with samples of its IoT devices, placed in multiple locations including travel-retail, department stores, hotels and lounges, creating a new stream for consumers to access new products.

The process consists of sharing the consumer’s personal data while the device learns about their habits and preferences and links their lifestyle choices to one of the partner brand products. The sample then goes to the consumer’s hands in seconds, free of charge and still directs him to the brand website so that the purchase of the product can be made.

This information is used for more assertive communication between consumers and brands. The partnership gives Aptar an opportunity to offer its perfumery and beauty customers an all-in-one production and distribution service with innovative technology.

Odore will distribute the fragrance samples in the patented dispenser “Imagin” created by Aptar. The data collected with consent, allow the brands to benefit from the market research for new product launches. With the partnership, Odore has the chance to access Aptar’s global fragrance clients such as Coty and Estee Lauder, among others.
