quantiQ, a chemical distributor in Brazil and a company of the GTM Holdings SA group, announced two partnerships for the cosmetics segment: HT Nutri, a Brazilian company specialized in the production of rice derivatives, and the American company Ingredion, a leader in ingredients solutions of natural origin. From now on, the two companies will have quantiQ as exclusive distributor.

HT Nutri has recently expanded its product lines to the personal care market. Among HT Nutri’s inputs that will be offered by quantiQ are Fôve Max and Fôve Oil, rice products rich in phytosterols, oryzanol, omega 3, 6 and 9 and vitamin E, which present high performance for skincare and haircare products. The use of rice-based ingredients for cosmetics combined with technology contributes to the multifunctionality in its applications, as well as ensuring high performance in skin and hair care.

“The cosmetics market is strategic for quantiQ, a decisive factor for us to be chosen as a partner of HT Nutri, especially now that the company is entering this segment in the country,” says Mônica Batistela, cosmetics marketing coordinator at quantiQ.

Ingredion creates sustainable solutions and offers the market raw material products of bio-based technology that combine performance and practicality with environmental responsibility. The company also serves more than 60 different industry sectors such as food, pharmaceutical and personal care.

quantiQ was already actuating the distribution of Ingredion’s pharma area and now the partnership between the companies takes another step. Distributed Farmal and Native Care lines offer to the market products that balance performance and smoothness . In addition, the line of ingredients complements and enhances the physical and sensory attributes of products for the personal care area.

These partnerships seek to meet a growing consumer demand for more products made from raw materials from renewable sources. “One of our current challenges is to bring innovative and natural product options to the cosmetics market that follow a consolidated trend of more sustainable products,” says Regina Oliveira, the manager responsible for QuantiQ’s Cosmetics, Aromas & Fragrances and Pharma areas.
