To meet the changing needs of its consumers, Unilever expands its portfolio of deodorants to include SKUs designed for on-the-go lifestyles. The company is launching new formats designed for different lifestyles, in cleaning and mini formats in its brands Dove, Degree and Ax.
“Our research shows that nearly 50% of people are applying their deodorant multiple times a day,” said Dawn Hedgepeth, General Manager and Vice President of Unilever Deodorants, Men’s Grooming and Hand and Body Lotion. “Our new Deodorant Wipes provide an easy-to-use format to wiping away sweat and freshening up. There are countless moments where these wipes can provide a fresh re-set – activities like working out, before a big meeting, during travel, on the way to meet up with friends or just running around the house.”
Unilever’s new Toilets Deodorants, already on sale in some countries, offer a clever way for people to feel refreshed between different activities. With odor protection for 24 hours, the new Deodorant Handkerchiefs are available in five Dove, Dove Men + Care, Degree Women, Degree Men and AXE brands. Ideal for retouching under the armpits, neck and chest, Unilever Deodorant wipes are pre-moistened, alcohol-free and come packed with built-in lids to ensure freshness to the last wipe. They are offered in seven variants, in a pack of 25 wipes. The suggested retail price is $ 4.98 to $ 5.99.
Unilever also released 1 oz dry antiperspirant spray deodorants in its Dove, Dove Men + Care, Degree Women and Degree Men lines. Based on the best selling fragrances, the new dry mini sprays will retail for $ 1.99.
