The richness of the different cultures and perspectives that only one trip can bring is part of the inspiration of Apothecary's new eau de parfum, Zaad Go. It is in Northern China that Evodia is extracted - a reddish aromatic fruit used in millenary medical techniques of that country, also chosen because it is believed that the fruit has the power to balance the Yin Yang, and to renew the energies.
This reenergizing freshness of Chinese fruit is combined with the intensity of the woods and amber in Zaad Go. From the woody floral family, it has notes of Lemon, Cardamom, Geranium from Africa, Aquatic Notes beyond Evodia.
According to the perfumer creator of the new Zaad, Brazilian Adilson Rato, of Firmenich fragrance house, personal experiences such as the destinations he has already explored are a source of inspiration for his creations. "For me, traveling means being open to the unexpected. Everything is pure inspiration: from an exotic landscape to local customs," he says.
